That's where the Aurora II lumbar camera pack from Mountainsmith comes in. It's a convertible camera bag that can be be carried by hand, a detachable shoulder strap, or a hip belt. Size is a big concern while traveling. This medium sized pack is the perfect size for a camera like the Canon EOS Digital Rebel with a zoom lens. There's some extra room for batteries, pens, keys, filters, and cleaning supplies but it's not bulky. Compression straps keep the pack from swaying while using the hip belt. Fleece lined padding with adjustable dividers keep your expensive toys safe and scratch-free, and the nylon 420d and 430d fabric protect your camera from the elements. The Aurora II comes in two sizes, medium (244 cubic inches) and small (107 cubic inches).
