The X9i wrist-top computer has enough features to baffle even the seasoned geek. It does everything Suunto watches are known for, and more. The GPS is compatible with National Geographic TOPO! Software, making it easy to track routes and waypoints. Yet, the X9i is not recommended as a sole navigational tool. The battery life with the GPS on is between 4 and 12 hours depending on how frequently the GPS aquires a satelite fix. To save on power, the GPS can be left off when not in use, while the altimeter, barometer, and compass function independently.
